A propos de cet article
Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm "New Orthophonic High Fidelity Long Play" (mono) vinyl record, RCA Victor LPM-1090, near-mint vinyl in a very-good cardboard jacket with some visible rub and ringwear and a strip of "Scotch Magic" tape to top edge. The pop/country virtuoso of the electric guitar offers instrumental versions of "Corrine, Corinna," "The Birth of the Blues," "Alabama Jubilee," "Have You Ever Been Lonely," "Old Man River," etc., backed by Bud Isaacs on steel guitar, Dale Porter on fiddle, Bob Moore on bass, etc. Jacket notes by Nelson King of WCKY radio, a clear-channel 50,000-watt powerhouse generally identified as being in Cincinnati, Ohio, though (as the call letters should make obvious) the station actually broadcasts from across the river in Covington, Kentucky, the "Gateway to Dixie." Reduced from $18. (Since we offer as a rule a return-for-full-refund guarantee, and since shipping costs would exceed the value of the record, no international shipping on these lower-priced LPs.).
