Nine of twenty volumes. All red cloth, stamped in gilt, black, blind rul, spine titles and top page edges gilt, other edges deckle. Uncommon set of the Bard's works, this edition with three copyright dates (1883, 1882, 1898), presumably this is the 3rd printing then. Included are vols. I, II, IV, V, VI, VIII, IX, X, XI. Titus Andronicus, Henry VI Parts I, II, III, Comedy of Errors, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Midsummer-Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, King John, King Richard II, King Henry IV Pars I, II, King Henry V, Merry Wives of Windsor, Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It, All's Well that Ends Well. All volumes with heavy rubbing and toning, lean, corner bumps, light fray, spine fade; several with exterior stains, cracked title hinges, tender hinges. Frontis' intact but only vol.
