Laid-in is a rare, original, 1927 golf shoes advertisement of Johnny Farrell rocking a pair of French, Shriner & Unger Twin-Grip golf Oxford shoes. Johnny Farrell would win the U.S. open at Olympia Fields the following year; defeating the immortal Bobby Jones after a 36 hole playoff. Johnny Farrell would later become Club Pro at Quaker Ridge & later Baltusrol. Original DJ is VG-. DJ show rubbing along edges with one small open chip along base of front. Minuscule chipping elsewhere. Faint cloud on DJ. Overall, NF/VG- with rare 1927 advert laid-in.
