A rifleman's view of the War in the Pacific, up to and including his platoon leader and sniping ventures on Guadalcanal. He wrote it particularly for other riflemen. that would follow in his footsteps. This copy in VG to NF condition with the only blemish being the original owner's name neatly penned to front free endpaper along with his bookplate. The uncommon dust jacket is VG with a vertical closed split at front flap crease and some overall minor wear, spine lettering a bit sunned.
