Dr. Herrick earned a Ph.D. from Columbia and is the author of several books concerning Soviet Naval Strategy and Policy. Retired U.S. Navy Commander Robert Herrick examines the offensive-defensive cycles through which naval strategy has evolved over the last half of the 20th century within the Soviet Union.
