Harry Vardon wins the 1900 US Open over J. H. Taylor by two strokes thus moving the title abroad for the first time. Walter J. Travis of Garden City broke through (top qualifier in a field of 120 players) winning the US Amateur Championship with a 2 up defeat of Findlay Douglas. Covers dampstained with some color washed out and bled through to the other side. Small loss top of spine, spine covered in clear tape, small loss lower cover edge.
