A propos de cet article

A near fine copy, in near fine dust jackets, of this two-volume copy of the US first edition. The brown cloth bindings are clean and unworn, with gleaming gilt lettering to the spines. The contents are fresh and bright with no ownership inscriptions or any other markings of any kind. The dust jackets are neatly clipped, but otherwise intact, with only the slightest of wear to the edges. Both jackets are now protected in removable mylar covers. From the blurb: "Konrad Lorenz is perhaps the foremost living authority on ethnology, the study of the comparative psychology of men and other animals. His early work in this field was accomplished during a period of controversy between the vitalist and mechanistic schools, and his conclusions led the way to a rational settlement between the two extremes".
