A propos de cet article
Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm stereo vinyl record, RCA Victor LSP-3766, "good" vinyl which plays through some modest scratches, including one which can be felt to Side 2 (We hear some clicks & pops during the two tracks "White Rabbit" and "Plastic Fantastic Lover"), in an original glossy, very-good cardboard sleeve with modest ringwear. 1967 record with white dog to top of label; TPRS-4894-15. The lovely RCA paper inner sleeve -- advertising not a single rock 'n roll artist! -- is also original. "Somebody to Love," "Comin' Back to Me," "How Do You Feel," "Plastic Fantasic Lover," and, of course, the bolero that Gracie liked to call "White Rabbit." And my, they all do look young and cute. Not their first album, just their first album with Grace, listing Jerry Garcia as "Musical and Spiritual adviser." Jorma Kaukonen, Skip Spence, Paul Kantner, lots of song-writing credits for Marty Balin . . . you know. I believe we can call this one "iconic." (Though again, while vinyl plays through for us, it is used, shows some scratches, NOT FINE.) Sixties San Francisco psychedelic rock 'n roll; reduced from $30.
