Preface by John Buchan (author of The 39 Steps. )Prepared for the Thames Valley Branch of the Council for the Preservation of Rural England. The binding is firm and tight. The light grey boards are very clean and bright. The interior is also very clean with no inscriptions. The scarce, tan-coloured dust-wrapper (with a photo of Henley bridge to the front panel) is in reasonably good condition, but with marks to cover & minor edgewear. Copiously illustrated with colour plates, maps, charts, (colour and black and white) and numerous black and white photos.
