This abridged edition omits the travelogue elements, retaining 'only such portions of his remarks on manners and customs as tend to illustrate either the state of the army or social life in the Ireland of those days'. Blue cloth binding with a little light marking to front board. Slight bumping to corners of boards and ends of spine. Outer and lower page edges untrimmed. Tanning to free endpapers, light foxing to endpapers and first couple of pages. Very clean text throughout. Recent owner's bookplate to front free endpaper. . Overall condition is Very Good.
