A propos de cet article

First edition of this attack on the anti-opium lobby, based on the author's 15 years in Hong Kong working as a solicitor. Tables in text; 46 pp. publisher's advertisements at end. Original brown diagonal-grain cloth, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, boards panelled in blind, brown coated endpapers. Ex-Colonial Office Library, with its name stamped in blind on boards, shelf label, and stamps on endpapers, title page, and periodically in text; recent ownership inscription on rear pastedown. Spine toned and marked, head consolidated with adhesive: very good. …
