Contents generally clean and tight but for very minor browning/soiling, a little cocked. Owner's name to ffep. English reprint of More's socio-political satire, originally published in Latin in 1516. It depicts the society on the fictional island of Utopia, with details of its religious, social and political customs. This is the 1st edition of the English Reprints edition. Between 1868 and 1871, Edward Arber edited a 30 volume series of significant early books and manuscripts, published by A Murray under the English Reprints name.
