The diary, that reads similar to the graphic novel style, tells the story of a nightclub bartender, who has fallen passionately in love, but slowly succumbs to his customer, an ancient vampire's invitations to the eternal dark side. Written as a young adult would write, in their own personal dark diary, with thoughts, feelings and emotions expressed, with a bounty of sketches and illustrations. Preliminary nomination for the Bram Stoker Award. A lovely graphic art and horror book collectible. Fine, square, and firm in matte-laminated, green, black, and white patterned boards with 'MY DIARY' in white to the front cover, red-and-yellow headband and tail-band, textured red end-papers, with a metal clasp side lock, accompanied by two working metal keys on a red woven string; housed in the original creepily illustrated, glossy stiff-card, fine slipcase that is die-cut to fit neatly around the lock, with black titles printed to it's spine panel; original printed $14.99 US price still intact to its rear panel.
