Neat old repair to inner margin of half-title, folding table lightly browned and slightly dusty on blank side, pale age toning to pages, a few tiny ink spots. A good copy. The book covers early English vineyards, chapters on a wide variety of European wines, madeira, Champagne, wines of Australia, French wines, wine as remedy, adulteration, wine drinking, port, sherry, Tokay, Medoc.
