Published in 1878 this is a Very Rare book on the Shropshire village of Worfield near Bridgnorth, situated near the picturesque River Worfe and its sandstone scenery, with chapters on the surrounding Hamlets, Families, its long standing history with the Gypsy community and more, the book is bound in decorative bevelled edged boards titled in gilt, internally illustrated with engravings and a folding hand coloured map, the book had a highly limited publication to subscribers only, all of whom are listed within, 65 pages, covers have some rubbing to spine ends and corners, minor marking else covers in nice general condition, internally some mild corner creasing else contents are in nice condition.
