No. 1232 in this important series, one of the very scarce upright format ASEs and probably the most difficult of the Steinbeck ASEs to find, issued by the Council on Books in Wartime, designed to fit the pocket of a World War II American GI, although this book wasn't in the Goldstone collection, see Goldstone & Payne A23e, not recorded by Morrow.
