No print line on copyright page, indicating a true first printing. Shipped in a well-padded box. The second volume in The Kingkiller Chronicle, published on March 1, 2011, by DAW Books, the sequel to 2007's The Name of the Wind. The third volume has yet to be be published, but a related novella, "The Slow Regard of Silent Things," was released in 2014. Rothfuss has yet to publish any novels outside the Kingkiller universe.

All the while, Kvothe searches for answers, attempting to uncover the truth about the mysterious Amyr, the Chandrian, and the death of his parents.
