Eric “Cap’n Aux” Auxier is a pilot by day, writer by night, and kid by choice. Never one to believe in working for a living, his past list of occupations include: Alaska bush pilot, freelance writer, mural artist, and pilot for a Caribbean seaplane operation. He is now a captain for a major U.S. airline. Mr. Auxier has contributed to such worldwide publications as Arizona Highways, Airways Magazine, Plane & Pilot and AOPA Pilot. He is a graduate of Arizona State University (B.S. degree in Aeronautical Technology; minors in Journalism and Japanese) and Cochise College (A.S. degree in Pro-Pilot and Creative Writing). At both institutions, he worked as a newspaper editor, staff reporter and columnist. There I Wuz! is his third book. His second, The Last Bush Pilots, a novel inspired by his adventures as a young bush pilot in Alaska, captured the coveted Amazon 2013 Top 100 Breakthrough Novels Award. The award-winning Code Name: Dodger is his first novel, a young adult spy adventure. He is currently working on two new works, There I Wuz! Volume II, and Cartel Kidnapping, Book Two of the Code Name: Dodger adventure series.
