The information in this work began from the research of Mr. Hotchkis, the chairman of the Wye Board of Conservators. After his death, it was continued by his successor, Arthur Hutton. Externally, very smart with some light shelf wear to the extremities. The odd light spot to the paste-downs and free endpapers. The original unclipped dust wrapper is a trifle rubbed. The front flyleaf is separated from the rest of the dust wrapper. Shelf wear and chipping to the edges. Spine and panel edges are darkened. Marks to the boards. Loss to the upper and lower spine.
