Five volumes. xvii i.e. xviii, 601; xxviii, 602; xxv, 513 i.e 613; xxvi, 617; xxxi, [8], 89 p. First edition of Johnes translation. Contemporary half calf bindings, with marbled boards. 29 cms. The spines with raised bands and two labels per volume. Rubbed on the edges and corners, with loss on some of the spine ends. The boards are firmly attached. The contents are clean and tight with light paper toning in some sections which also affects the plates. A sound and useable set.
