A propos de cet article

Sighed by author, Benjamin Matthias Nead for Captain J.E. Barr dated Harrisburg, Pennsylvania July 14th 1909. Blue cloth binding with gold lettering. Light shelfwear to corners. Dust spotting to the edge of pages. Clean interior pages free of any markings other than the inscritption from the author. 61 pages 8.5" X 5.5" - A short paper on how historical fiction often repeats and recasts certain incidents in a new light. Often it uses the same tropes and forms borrowed from other works. This paper deals with specific similarities between Sir Gilbert Parker's "Seats of the Mighty" and Nevil B. Craig's "Memoirs of Major Robert Stobo" to illustrate the fiction writer's source of inspiration for his novel about Fort Du Quesne and Old Quebec.
