We have been in the bookselling business for well over 50 years. Originally started by Stuart Baldwin, the business has been run by Sue Lyman, Stuart's step-daughter, for many years. Stocking books in all subjects, both scientific and non-science related, including Beekeeping, Biology, Botany, Earth Sciences, English, Geology, History of Science, Natural History, Palaeontology, Scientific Biography and Zoology, with over 10,000 items in stock including many rare and out-of-print titles, books, journals, reprints, offprints and separates.

Payment in advance accepted by Visa/Delta/Mastercard. Any items not as described may be returned in the same condition as sent, but please contact us first.
Prices quoted exclude packaging, shipping and insurance which are extra at cost.

Shipping rates are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 Kg. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. We reduce shipping rates when these are less than quoted (e.g. pamphlets etc.)
