Part II: The finds. - A fundamental two-volume archaeological report describing Ahmed Fakhry's excavations in the 1950s of the Bent Pyramid of King Sneferu and the surrounding complex. It documents the construction of the pyramid, the inner chambers, and the discovery of the valley temple, with valuable reliefs and finds. The work is divided into three parts, focusing on the Bent Pyramid, the valley temple, and the reliefs/finds of the temple. Fakhry specialized in the Bent Pyramid and documented the two unique entrances, the vaulted ceilings, and the structurally crucial cedar beams. He excavated the valley temple associated with the Bent Pyramid and discovered decorated blocks with images of ritual scenes from the early Fourth Dynasty, which he published in the second part.
