An attractive little book, with the fragile folding map in excellent condition. very good An attractive little guide to fishing for salmon and trout in Ireland. The colour plates are tipped in on a heavy card stock and depict Salmon and trout flies. Although not marked as such, this copy was from the collection of Edward Joseph "Ted" Garland, the Canadian ambassador to Iceland and Norway. Garland was an avid angler and also an influential founding member of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation, a precursor to Canada's New Democratic Party. With a few of his pencil notations to margins.
