Gilt-blocked leather label to spine, with raised bands and spine compartments uniformly tooled in gilt. Spine ends and panel edges somewhat dulled and rubbed. Internally, pages are very clean with only some light yellowing noticeable in the page margins. Isolated spots of foxing. Remains particularly well-preserved overall. Further scans, images etc. and additional bibliographical material available on request. Provenance: The Society of Writers to the Signet, with their emblem stamped in gilt to the front and rear panels of each volume. Minor library marks remain internally, including a small label to the front pastedowns, and "Morton" handwritten in the corner of each title page. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 1 pages; Physical description: 3 v. in 5.
