A propos de cet article

13" x 15" paper letterpress pressure-printed with a freeform design, front flaps open to form a box shape made from lavender book cloth faced with blue paper, title printed on tan cardstock attached to the sky blue grosgrain ribbon loop that is part of the tie closure. 12 broadsides of various sizes. Twelve broadsides, each representing the work of an individual poet who gave a reading at the Center for Book Arts in New York, are enclosed in an artistic portfolio that not only provides protection but also appeals to the eye. As part of the Broadside Reading Series, each author creates a broadside of one of their poems that captures the essence of the verse and the story they are telling. Includes works by Sheila Maldonado, Sharon Mesmer, Jan Heller Levi, Karen Garthe, Rachel Wetzsteon, David Trinidad, Elizabeth Frost, Erica Ehrenberg, Patricia Carlin, Lynn Wagner, Baron Wormser and Grace Paley. Produced in a signed limited edition of 100, the broadsides are reserved for the yearly portfolios. The design of the 2006 portfolio, which varies significantly from those of past years, features a center opening that fastens with sky blue grosgrain ribbon. Covered in paper printed with a freeform design in shades of blue, green and pale orange, the front cover flaps open to reveal a pop-up box that contains the individual broadsides. paper letterpress pressure-printed with a freeform design, front flaps open to form a box shape made from lavender book cloth faced with blue paper, title printed on tan cardstock attached to the sky blue grosgrain ribbon loop that is part of the tie closure.…
