Slight stain to preliminary pages, boards slightly faded but a very good copy. Signed and numbered bookplate. Originally published in Dutch as De Valkerij op het Loo. History of the short-lived Royal Loo Hawking Club housed at the palace of Het Loo in The Netherlands. The club had an international membership, and specialised in the "haut vol" , high ringing flights at heron and kite. Beautifully illustrated with contemporary paintings and sketches. .
