A propos de cet article
"Sales/posting to the USA suspended". Hard cover laminated pictorial boards, 428pp, b&w and colour photos and maps. Top free corners of front and rear boards mildly bumped, signed by Mollison on title page; a near fine copy. The author was the commander of Alpha Company 6RAR and combines his own observations with the stories of his men (and especially Warrant Officer Class 2 Jack Roughley, MID) to present a personal account of soldiering and warfare. Covers Alpha Company's preparations for war, Operation Enoggera, Operation Brisbane, Operation Hobart and other major operations. The largest segment concentrates on the Battle of Long Tan. Includes honours and awards list and nominal roll for Alpha Company.
