Ex-libris Treverbyn Vean, later e.ps., early panelled calf with blind fillet and motifs to corners, edges of boards with skilful gilt tooling, some scratching to boards, rebacked in calf with gilt tooling and gilt lettered label to spine, sm. nicks to head of upper joints. Proceedings and Tryal : Wing (CD-ROM, 1996), P3555A; ESTC R7827 ‘. William Lord Archbishop of Canterbury = William Sancroft. The names "William Lord Bishop of St. Asaph, . Chichester," and "Thomas Lord Bishop of Bath and Wells, . Bristol." are bracketed together on title page. The first leaf bears portraits of the defendants and is signed: R: White sculp. With advertisement at foot of p.140. Some copies may have errata slip pasted in. Identified as Wing S564 on UMI microfilm "Early English books, 1641-1700".’Sir Rich. Grahme Wing (2nd ed., 1994), A3766A; ESTC R22452 ‘Imprimatur on leaf [A]1v: I do appoint Samuel Heyrick and Thomas Cockerill, to print the Tryals . Also a letter from the late King James to the Pope: And another letter of the late Earl of Melford to the late Queen from Rome, in answer to the same. And that no other do presume to print the same.
