A propos de cet article

Dallas, Texas, December, 1940., 1940. Fine. - Over 80 words typed on his 10-1/2 inch high by 7-1/8 inch wide "Sizzle Ranch" stationery with the motto "It's the sizzle that sells the steak - and not the cow" printed along the bottom. Elmer Wheeler informs Herb Saltford that he has "about 10 Sizzlemanship, our new book here, and would be glad to autograph them and send them to you." "Please send me the names of the people and I'll make them out personally." He then writes out the cost of the books and postage, depending whether they are to be sent as a lot or separately to the individuals. Signed "E.W." Herb Satlford has annotated the letter in pencil at the top and stamped the date. Near fine. Considered a "multifaceted creative sales genius" by the Fearless Revival company, Elmer Wheeler (1903-1968) was a business influencer, salesman and author who created the phrase "Don't sell the steak - sell the sizzle!". He wrote several books on sales strategy and selling skills.
