Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book details the advancements in instrumentation and research activities of scientists in the Analytical Mass Spectrometry Section during the period of July 1968 to June 1969. These experts have been working to establish high accuracy and absolute abundance ratio standards for various elements. The atomic weight associated with absolute abundance ratio standards is the real product if the element shows no variation in nature. To make the abundance ratio standards more useful, the new materials are now supplied in a stoichiometric form. These reference materials are then certified for both isotopic composition and assay. As such, these standards can now be used to calibrate instruments for filament bias and at the same time, calibrate spike solutions used for isotope dilution analysis. Of note, the author has also detailed procedures and equipment changes that have been implemented over the past year, which has included the need to sometimes identify commercial materials and equipment. However, in no case does such identification imply recommendation or endorsement by the National Bureau of Standards, nor does it imply that the material or equipment identified is necessarily the best available for the purpose. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. N° de réf. du vendeur 9780266076186_0
