Biographie de l'auteur :
Martin Evans is a Senior Fellow at Cardiff Business School,having been Head of Marketing and Strategy there. He previouslyheld professorial posts at the Universities of Portsmouth,Glamorgan and West of England. His industrial experience was withHawker Siddeley and then as a consultant to a variety oforganizations over 30 years. Martin s specialist areasinclude direct marketing, consumer behaviour, and marketingresearch and information and he has over 180 publications includingnine books, mostly in these areas. He is an academic prizewinner atthe International Marketing communications Conference, the Academyof Marketing, the Learning and Teaching Support Network (ITSN) andInstitute of Direct Marketing. He is a Fellow of both the CharteredInstitute of Marketing and Institute of Direct Marketing. He hasEditorial Board experience for eight academic journals and wasfounding and managing Editor of the Journal of Consumer Behaviour.Martin has discussed his research on both radio and TV.

Ahmad Jamal is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing andStrategy and the Coordinator for the Ethnic Marketing ResearchGroup and Programme Director for the MSC in Strategic Marketing atCardiff Business School. He holds a PhD in Consumer Behaviour fromthe University of Bradford. Ahmad is a former Deputy Secretary ofthe Academy of Marketing UK, a member of Association of ConsumerResearch, European Academy of Marketing and a Senior Examinerfor the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He also acts as the VicePresident for Western Europe, the Academy for Global BusinessAdvancement (AGBA) and is the Managing Editor for Journal of GlobalBusiness Advancement. His research interests include cross–culturalconsumer behaviour, self–concept, service quality, brandevaluations and customer satisfaction, and he has published widelyin leading academic journals. His major areas of teaching includeconsumer behaviour, advertising and other forms of marketingcommunications.

Gordon Foxall is a Distinguished Research Professor atCardiff University. His chief research interests lie inpsychological theories of consumer choice and consumerinnovativeness and their relationships to marketing management andstrategy. He has published some 16 books and over 250 articles andpapers on these and related themes and has previously heldprofessorial appointments at the Universities of Strathclyde,Birmingham and Keele. He is a Fellow of both the BritishPsychological Society (FBPsS) and the British Academy ofManagement (FBAM) and was recently elected an Academician by theAcademy of Learned Societies for the Social Sciences (AcSS).
