Sir Max Hastings (West Berkshire, UK) is an author, journalist, and broadcaster whose work has won numerous awards and accolades. He now writes regularly for the Daily Mail and Financial Times, of which he is a contributing editor, and reviews books for the Sunday Times and New York Review of Books. He has published 23 books. In 2012, Sir Max Hastings was honored with the Pritzker Military Library Literature Award for Lifetime Achievement in Military Writing.
