Soft cover. Etat : Very Good. 1st Edition. Hunters & Drifters by Cally Clarke. Publisher: Reed, New Zealand, 1991, First Edition. Very good softback, light creasing to covers, slight fading to spine, binding firm, minor marks, minor marks. It is the 1950's backblocks, NZ. Jobs are easy to come by and there are plenty of pigs in the bush just waiting to be hunted. Cally and Jim are forestry workers and hunting buddies, and they take their dogs out most week-ends and sometimes during worktime too to hunt the big ones. The adventures they have , and there are plenty of them, are sometimes funny, often hair-raising and always colourful. Cally Clarke is a born story-teller and this book of true tales from the bush, describing his pig-hunting exploits and his life in small country towns in the central North island will delight real hunters and armchair hunters alike. 123 pages, illustrated. All books are sent free by courier postage within New Zealand. N° de réf. du vendeur ABE-1792132360892
