Synopsis

Who hasn't seen a shoe lying on the side of the road? How did the shoe get there?

Was it abandoned, stolen, or just plain lost?

Did a baby toss it out of the stroller? Did it fall off a runner on his way to the finish line? Did a chef with a white hat lose his shoe on his way to the store? Who wore it, who owned it, and where is its mate?

With silliness and humor, this picture book for children, The Shoe on the Side of the Road and Other Missing Things, explores the mystery of abandoned shoes, lost socks in the dryer, and missing mittens in the snow.
