Synopsis

A groundbreaking framework for delivering the world's most effective therapy--personalized to each client.

If you are a therapist who treats clients with mood disorders, you know that effective treatment isn't one-size-fits-all. Some clients may be struggling with trauma or difficult life experiences that worsen their symptoms, while others may face relationship issues that negatively affect their mood and behavior. In addition, every client copes with stress differently. What you need is a flexible, tailored approach to treating these clients--one that focuses on their individual needs.

Cognitive behavioral precision therapy (CBPT) is a comprehensive, transdiagnostic, and personalized framework to enhance the world's most efficient therapy. In this professional guide, you will find tools to assess your individual clients' needs by focusing on environmental stressors--such as social contexts and life factors--as well as the maladaptive coping mechanisms that drive emotional disorders. Most importantly, you will learn to create personalized treatment plans for optimal symptom relief.

Discover targeted interventions to help your clients:

  • Learn problem-solving skills to manage emotions
  • Develop healthy coping strategies
  • Overcome avoidance or safety-seeking behaviors
  • Manage worry and negative thinking

If you are searching for tools to help you effectively target your clients' specific symptoms with confidence and precision, this professional manual has everything you need to get started today.
