Dr. Alin Olteanu was Andrew Stables' PhD student. They have collaborated beyond just that degree, producing several publications together. S�bastien Pesce and Eetu Pikkarainen are leading scholars in the semiotics of education. They are co-founders of the International Semiotics and Education Network, from where a semiotic approach to education was first institutionalized.
