It will analyse a briefhistorical discussion and one recent case of thedoctrine of command responsibility with particularhighlight on its application as reflected in thejurisprudence of the International Criminal Tribunalfor the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and theInternational Criminal for Rwanda (ICTR).

Ms. Nukila Evanty, was born in Bagan Siapi-Api, Riau,Indonesia. Master of Laws (LL.M) University of Groningen,PostGraduate(MILIR) University of New South Wales. She is a VisitingLecturer and Human Rights Specialist inIntergovernmental Organisation. She has published many books and articles in law journals.
