The belief in one being possessed by evil spirit ofany sort is a universal andcontroversial issue among all believers of allrevealed religions, Muslims and their Scholarsinclusive. Adam Adebayo Sirajudeen has taught Arabic Language & Literaturein the Department of Arabic & Islamic Studies, Kogi StateUniversity, Anyigba-Nigeria. He holds B.A. Honours, M.A and PhDArabic from the Universities of Ilorin, Ahmadu Bello and Jos, Nigeria, respectively with interest in Afro-ArabicLiterary History & Historiography.
