Synopsis

The overall objective of this paper is to analyse the degree of Agriculture-Mining integration and to verify whether it can cause the development of Rubaya, in the Masisi Territory in the DRC, in order to base a reflection on the economic strategies that can facilitate the latter. In order to apprehend the interactions that may exist between the integration of these two branches of the primary sector and development in Rubaya, econometric methods were applied to the selected analytical models.First, a linear regression model was estimated using the OLS method in order to capture the factors explaining integration through the integration income. Then another linear regression model was considered and the OLS method was applied to measure the impact of this integration on the development of Rubaya.
