Synopsis

The growing awareness of the value of the human person as a main driving force and ultimate goal in the entire development system has prompted numerous research and studies to define the concept of human development and to analyse its human components and dimensions. The dynamics of human development are being driven in our country by the launch of the NHRI in 2005. The NHRI takes two parallel approaches: supporting access to basic services and infrastructure, and strengthening the ability of women and men to create activities adapted to their know-how and in line with the specificities of their regions, by strengthening their capacity and promoting the development of their activities. The aim of these approaches is to significantly reduce poverty and exclusion through the promotion of income-generating activities (IGAs).
