John M. Poothullil, MD, FRCP practiced medicine as a pediatrician and allergist for more than 30 years, with 27 of those years in the state of Texas. He is author of five books, including two on diabetes, two on cancer, and one on medical disinformation. His books have won 1st place in the Nautilus Book Awards and the IPPY Awards. He has spent 25 years researching the medical literature on type 2 diabetes and has concluded that the insulin resistance theory is illogical and unproven.
