Fat 8vo, 7 x 4.5 inches. Bound in original full calf, panelled and decorated in blind, spine restored. Manuscript index in early hand on front free end paper. Some water staining and marginalia, some edges cut close with loss of catchwords etc, but a good example. THE PAMPHLETS ARE, (IN THE ORDER IN WHICH THEY ARE BOUND). 1/ A list of the Lords spiritual and temporal, with the Knights, of shires, citizens and burgesses, chosen to serve in the Parliament of Great-Britain, summoned to meet at Westminster, on the 17th of March, 1715. No imprint but a version of ESTC T169928 (an Edinburgh printing) but this has a different pagination this version not in ESTC. 2/ Sacheverell, Henry, 1674-1724. The perils of false Brethren, both in church, and state: Set forth in a sermon preach'd before the Right Honourable the Lord-Mayor, aldermen, and citizens of London, at the Cathedral-Church of St. Paul, on the 5th of November, 1709. *With a final leaf referring to the absence from this edition, (although called for on the title page) of 'The peril of being zealously affected', which will speedily be published. on the same paper to be stitch'd with it. This is here as No. 6 in this volume. which says London Printed and reprinted and sold by Frances Dickson Union Coffee-House, on Cork Hill Dublin. It therefore seems likely the London imprint on the title is false. ESTC 200567.
