WE ARE DELIGHTED TO OFFER THIS ORIGINAL MOVIE MAGAZINE, WHICH WAS PUBLISHED ALMOST A CENTURY AGO! We have found it to be quite rare, and filled with historic pictures and info about the Silent Era film superstars. A great item to display, collect and read. HISTORIC THEMES AND CREATORS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PERIODICAL, including VALENTINO (from Blood and Sand), an ACHMED ABDULLAH tale, and a classic MADAME PETROVA double-page centerfold. Other historic features include Mary Pickford (playing Tess again for the first time in eight years), a drug addict, "The George M. Cohan of the screen - Johnnie Hines," and Mrs. Rodolph Valentino. Imagine owning a piece of cinematic history - that is what this is. CONDITION is quite attractive. This is large magazine, measuring about 9.5" x 12.5". Our consignor has worked with several different major studios over the decades, and reports that he obtained this extraordinary periodical nearly 40 years ago. He used it both for reference and to impress other professionals in the movie-related field. Naturally, there is some wear and aging. Because it still presents so well and is structurally sound, we grade it FINE-. It might be impossible to find a more attractive example. PHOTOS: We are providing large images so everyone can get an idea of just how nice this magazine is. The first image is a scan from a normal size scanner, which is smaller than the overall magazine (but does fully show three of the four magazine edges). Although incomplete, this first scan does an excellent job of illustrating just how nice this great old magazine is. We are also providing two of our consignor's photos, which are fuzzy and have uneven lighting, especially on the edges. However, those consignor pics of the front and back covers show the complete publication with all edges. The actual item is sharply printed with square corners, and looks very nice, like the first scan.
