Oblong small quarto measuring 12" x 6". Contains 27 sepia-toned or black and white silver gelatin photographs measuring between 2" x 2.5" and 3" x 11" with captions. Good only album with detached but present boards, loose pages, and chips. A modest but interesting collection of photographs following a 1903 hunting trip in San Pedro Martir. The album opens with a photo of the compiler followed by a panoramic photo of the campsite. Photos show hunters with their prey, deer hung from trees, and snakes with one captioned "the king of the road." Captions read "an early morning hunt," "an hours shooting," and "Feliz and deer." Other photos show "Indian signs" and "Natives" of the area. The landscape photographs are partially of note. Many of these images show panoramic views of the area including one utilizing two prints to show a "Panorama from the Corona." Another shows the summit of San Pedro at 12,000 ft. Other photos show "the distant desert," "Pinos Colorados," and the tree-lined "La Corona Forest." Additionally a few of the images are platinum prints, one of which shows the sunset from the camp.
