Illustrated throughout by Pauline Baynes. Full-color frontispiece, The Dance of Bacchus. Map endpapers. Original full pictorial Geoffrey Bles dust jacket, Very Good minus, enclosed in archival mylar. Jacket shows light edge wear and minor chipping at the crown and heel of dj spine. Inner front flap has clipped lower corner.

Condition: Pages are clean, light, and unmarked except for one page with a blue mark -- not effecting text. A small library identification card is affixed to the front pastedown. Stamps indicating withdrawal from Haringey Libraries, Museum and Arts Department appear on the title page and dedication page. Minor remnants of old adhesive visible on end paper. Binding is sound and tight, with a very slight beginning slant only. Netting showing in gutters of endpapers. Boards show edge wear, most noticeable at corners and at the crown and heel of the spine.

A solid, attractive British impression of Prince Caspian, retaining its original dust jacket and all key illustrative elements, well suited for collectors building Geoffrey Bles Narnia sets.
