A splendid array of printing samples, mostly British but also Continental and American, covering a wide range of subjects including fliers for entertainments, services, and advertisements for publications, bookbinding, memorials, plants & nurseries, clothes, food & drinks, etc etc., as well as the more obvious printing & stationery services. Widely varied print techniques, many printed in colours, some heightened with gold, on variously coloured paper stock of different weights. Original half vellum, lettered in gilt, uncut. Binding with dust marking, however very strongly bound and internally fine. An excellent copy of what is considered to be one of the most monumental productions in the history of colour printing.
