Condition Report Externally Spine fair condition gilt titles, worn top and tail. Joints fair condition worn, the front joint has two small holes where the stitches are showing, the rear joint is split but firmly attached by the chords. Corners good condition gently bumped and worn. Boards fair condition full grey cloth boards, sings of damp staining, general signs of wear. Page edges good condition top edge slightly darkened, fore and bottom edges lightly tanned, all speckled. See above and photos. Internally Hinges fair condition the front hinge has two small holes where the stitches are, the rear hinge is split but holding firmly by the chords. Paste downs good condition plain, lightly tanned with some foxing to the rear. End papers good condition plain, lightly tanned and foxed. Title good condition half title present, tanned and foxed with offsetting from the frontispiece. Pages good condition half title present, b/w frontispiece, tanned and foxed throughout.
