The most particular object of Pinder's attacks is the established Puritan leader Nathaniel White, whose doctrine is here thoroughly refuted, and whose hold on the minds and purses of Bermuda's inhabitants is denounced in a climactic listing of abuses, which includes charges of false religion, corruption, and greed in the imposition of charges on the sales of 'sugar, indico, or tobacco'.ESTC R10836; Sabin 62921.
