Certainly Stephenson and his firm rate mention in all the Australian architectural history textbooks, but the reference is brief. Two books commissioned by the firm itself have been published. One book titled "Sir Arthur Stephenson Australian Architecture 1987" by John Shaw is based on Allyson Barripp's Bachelor of Architecture thesis and is short and descriptive leaving the buildings to speak for themselves. The other book is the one offered here "Sephenson & Turner 1920 - 1970", again short on history and description but putting a wonderful collection of photographs detailing the 50 years of work.
